What do you need ....
to have at the house for when the baby comes home.
We received a ton of stuff from our shower but there is still stuff that I feel we are missing ( we did not receive any swaddles for sleeping or our first aid kit ect....). So what do I have to have at the house before the baby gets home?????

Re: What do you need ....
The answer is going to vary but I think the essentials are this:
Diapers Wipes Mylicon Drops Formula (if formula feeding) Vaseline (if having a boy for circumcision) Onesies
Some extras that help: Miracle Blanket for swaddling the baby. You can use the hospital blankets for a few weeks until your baby outgrows them, but then I would get the Miracle Blanket. For the Swaddle Me's and everything else out there. The MB is a lifesaver.
Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child - it's a book that helps you to understand your baby and their sleep habits. You will also be able to pick up on their tired cues and miss the overtired, cranky baby.
Bouncer, Swing, Soothing Motions Glider. You will need at least one of these to put the baby in.
Angel Care Monitor - is a lifesaver the first few months - but I could never live without the Video Monitor.
Tiny Love Symphony In Motion Mobile. It goes in the crib. Forget the stupid matcy/match mobiles. They succkkk. The Tiny Love Mobiles are amazing and are great for babies.
Sound Machine. It helps babies to sleep more soundly. Get one in the beginning that way you have it when your child can't sleep at 3am one night. BRU sells it for about 19.99
You don't need a bottle sterilizer in my opinion. I boiled everything the very first time and then from there on out everything goes in the dishwasher or is washed by hand.
I will write more as I think of it!
Snap and Go Stroller. HUGE lifesaver!
For the car - they sell a Fisher Price Mirror that has a remote contol. This is amazing!

Re: What do you need ....
OMG!!! Thank you so much. I need to get a serious move on things!!!!!! It is not helping that my house is still under construction, the baby room is not done yet and everything is at my sisters house...I feel a need to organize but am unable to do so therefore I have been making lists upon lists to try and calm myself since I am 36 weeks and they think I am going early

ITA with everything above, especially the Snap and Go, Tiny Love Symphony in Motion mobile, Mylicon, and something to swaddle the baby in.
I also have Baby Simply Saline handy and a cool mist humidifier bc DS has reflux and wakes up congested every morning. Also wanted to add:
Generic baby tylenol Benadryl Onesies with mittens nail clipper thermometer
