Re: 5 month schedule? activities?

I don't remember dd's schedule at that point, but I do remember she loved the baby Einstein discovery drums (which I'm not sure they still make, but I think they have a similar piano) and her exersaucer. She also played a lot on her play mat. She also used to love those oversized stroller toys, especially the Lamaze ones that had a crunchy sound activity.

5 month schedule? activities?

From what I recall, 2 naps a day, no solids, and we did a lot of playing on the floor- tummy time, practicing sitting, sitting with the boppy. Also exersaucer and jumperoo.

Re: 5 month schedule? activities?

My ds will be 6 months old at the end of the month. He likes to just roll around on a blanket on the floor, Also I put him in the summer infant seat with the toys around it & he plays with those, Also the baby Einstein jumper keeps him busy. I give him rattles & toys that are bright & make noise or play music & he tries to put them in his mouth. I have this little fisher price piano that he likes to bang on & he likes the crinkly books. He also likes toys with a face like soft puppets or stuffed animals, he makes sounds at them & hugs them.

Lately he wants to be held a lot more & doesn't nap as easily as he used to because he's interested in everything going on. On days I'm home with him, he naps a little more, but on days I have work, he hardly naps. He bf's & pretty much refuses the bottle so he'd rather wait for me all day to come home & feed him all evening, I feel bad. He doesn't eat any solids yet, I'm going to wait a little longer to start them.

He doesn't really have a schedule. Lately since I've been working, he takes a nap in the evening then sleeps through the night from about 9 or so until about 5 or 6 in the morning when I feed him, then he sleeps again until 8 or 9. He naps a little bit during the day (more if I'm home with him).

DD will be 5 months old in 4 days.

We don't have a schedule, but we follow a routine. She's in day care during the week and we run around on weekends, but she's a very laid back baby so it works for us. She seems to be dropping to 3 naps a day. We started her on solids this past week and she loves it. Her favorite new activities are the Exersaucer and Jumperoo.
