Schedule and activities for a 4 month old

My 4 month old DS gets antsy very easily. I find myself wondering what to do with him during the day. I sing to him, read to him, and play on the activity mat but he gets restless easily. Can you share with me your schedules and various activities you do with your 4-5 month old?

Just to add: He isn't sitting up yet and I don't have a Bumbo because my doctor isn't a fan of them. I do have a bouncer and swing.

Pretty much sounds like you're doing the right thing. Been a while since my boys were babies, but I had music playing in the background. I also put on the baby channel in the background that's on DirectTV. They didn't watch so much, but had music and other ideas for babies.
Lots of walks around the block, car rides, ran errands (oh... it was so easy back then in the carseat LOL), exersaucer, bouncy seat, tummy time, playmats, etc. They are just taking everything in at that age.

Ds is 5 months. He gets time in the jumperoo everyday whixh he loves. I take him outside once a day either for a short walk on the stroller or even just walking around the yard for a few mins (he likes the change of scenery). We also sing songs and watch a mickey mouse clubhouse episode. I lie him on his belly with some toys around and he just rolls all over grabbing toys. We practice sitting up a lot and his 3 year old sister really entertains him by dancing and singing for him

I found that a tough age bc they're awake more and very aware but can't physically do much. I kept different toys in DD's room and the living room so we could move and have different things to do. I played with her in the bouncer, on the playmat, propped her in the boppy and played music, wore her while I worked around the house, etc. No one activity lasted very long so you just need a lot of ideas to fill each awake period. It gets easier!

We go to baby boot camp, go on walks, play on activity mat (mobile/tummy time), sing songs, read books, play in the swing. We just broke out the exersaucer, but he's still a little too little to enjoy it. I use the boppy to sit him up.

It's a tough age. Most important thing is floor time to promote acquisition of developmental milestones. I rotated my babies between the floor, fisher price infant to toddler rocker, highchair, and when they were ready the excersaucer. I used strapped and links to attach toys to everything, played lots of music and talked to them about everything I was doing to keep them entertained.
