Is it normal not to see anything that deals with the pregnancy. Not even a sac. I know its early but just curious.

that is extremely early to see anything. but anything is possible!
i had a sono at 4 weeks during my regular pap (didn't know i was pregnant then) and they couldn't see anything. i actually asked if i was pregnant and they said no.

YES....I had an early sonogram and the doctor didnt see anything other than some thickening of the uterine lining.

Well I went today and I am 5 weeks 5 days and I only saw the sac. The Dr. thinks he saw a heartbeat but it is still a little to early to tell.

Sounds too early. Think of like this, you're only 3 days late, so nothing is really happening just yet. Typically, I think you can see the sac at 5 weeks and a HB around 6. HTH!

Ditto that. For us:
5w5d - gestational sac
6w5d - baby and saw heartbeat
7w5d - baby and saw and heard heartbeat
4 weeks is early so don't freak if you don't see anything. Good luck!!

Your HCG levels must be at least 1,000 to see the sac.....if you are only 3 days late I assume your levels are around 500s so don't worry, to early to see anything...
I would be concerned only if your levels were above 1,000 and you didn't see anything.....

Totally normal! I went at 4w6d and saw NOTHING. I was freaked out. Then I went again at 5w3d and saw just the ges sac, which was progress so I was happy. I waited until 7w5d and saw baby and saw/heard HB.
