Spotting on CD 12? (TMI Warning)

Last month I could have *possibly* had a chemical- the line was so faint that we aren't even sure if we saw a BFP. After all the "what if I was" I decided that I really can't handle the stress of OPK's, and set plans, etc etc... we are just going to not use protection and see where that gets us.

My cycles are long and normally sites like ff and yourdays tell me I O on or around CD 20.


Yesterday was CD 12 and I had a large amount of EWCM and some brown discharge when I wiped. The EWCM definitely stretched over an inch and the spotting was almost like it was the last of my period (but even less). I have never had this before!

Is it possible to "O" early, even if your cycles are anywhere from 31-33 days?

I get EWCM at least 2 days before I O, so it's possible that you'll O on CD14 or 15. Your AF might arrive earlier (since your LP is typically fixed). Some women get a little bleeding with ovulation, so maybe that's the reason for the brown. Brown is usually old blood, so my guess is that it's left over from last cycle, but don't know for sure.
