 | testing question Hi,
I am new on this board so please forgive me if I do not use the right acronyms. MY question is how soon can you take a pregnancy test. I feel like I am but it has only been a few days since. I am not sure if is my mind because I want to be, but I do have physical signs bloated, cramping and my period is not until the end of the month. Anyway what do you think???

 | Re: testing question At the very earliest 10-12 days after ovulation or 5 days before your missed period...Most women its about 2 days before.

It would be a little too soon to feel anything, symptoms occur because of the hormone buildup in your body which takes about 10-14 days..

 | Re: testing question If your period (AF) is not due till the end of the month, I am not sure how you can be pregnant ? You may be feeling ovulation taking place, it's similar to AF cramping at times. When did you get your last (af) ?
You can test for pregnancy using fmu (first morning urine) and a hpt (home pregnancy test) anywhere after about 9 dpo (days past ovulation) and perhaps get a big fat positive (bfp).

I tried to use some acronyms to help you out

 | Re: testing question Redstar,
Thanks, I do not remember anything from Health class about ovulation so I thank you for the info. I don't know I just thought that it could be like I said it could be my mind. It sounds so complicated all I thought is you have sex and see what happens!!!!
