Seriously - you accidently beat and strangled her to death.  At least they caught him. I thought it would never be solved.
ETA: Look at the related Jon Bonet post where the poll is if the parents did it - a majority of people said yes (or the brother). Wow! I feel so badly for them.

I can give you an insight from the local news here since the family lived here in GA.
the families are speaking out on the news.
Patsy Ramsey died at 49 from Ovarian cancer. She and her husband were divorced. she knew about the leading to the arrest of this man and was happy about it.
Her sisters stressed last night that it was the Colorado FBI, not police leading this investigation.
the man accused has only confessed to certain aspects of the crime.
The FBI will give a press conference today on all the details
the man accused, is from a neighboring town ( ). He disappeared from GA around the 96 Olympic Bombings and migrated to CA, then somehow ended up in CO.
The conecctions are scary, I do think the father is somehow involved (not realizing it). this guy knew about his business information and they are trying to figure out why $118,000 for ransom- that was the father's christmas bonus for that year. It's all too weird...
Anyway, I'll post more when the accused family speaks out today at a press conference.

yeah, that is what his family was saying last night. He was also being accused of a CA. crime. The family is saying nothing is true and that he was their involved in those crimes because he was writing a book on Jon Benet and this other child's crime.

I love Court TV and Forensic shows. I remember this case and being fascinated by it because I always wonder who would have killed her.
Her mother died in June of Ovarian Cancer. She was told a month before her death about the suspect. He was a teacher and his license was suspended because he was charged with child pornography. He admitted that he was there when she died but the death was accidental. I don't see how that can happen...you sexually assault a child, beat and strangle them to death and that's accidental?....
The suspect's ex-wife said he used to be fascinated in reading any information that came out about this case and another case of another child that disappeared in 1993. He was in contact with a spokesperson and someone who did a documentary "Who Kill JonBennet?" and somehow even though this spokesperson didn't know why at the time, contacted the police about the suspect. The spokesperson said he didn't understand what triggered it but felt this strong inclination to release suspect's name to the authorities.
I find it odd about the ransom note unless this person had a closer relationship with this people and he knew something about the father and was just trying to blackmail him and went to the house just to kidnap the girl but being the child molester he might be, his plans changed when he got there......
I guess we shall see the new developments....
It's truly a sad story and I feel so bad for JonBennet's mom......

I thought they were too until they said it last night on the local news here. I heard about it a coule of years ago, but never heard about it again so didn't think it was true.

I know it! the brother was speaking out last night and wouldn't answer any reporters questions, he said he will say everything today at a press conference the accused father is 85 and left his residence and town last night until this all blew over
