Adding rice cereal to formula question...
If you add rice cereal to the formula for your baby, do you do it as you make up the bottles for the day and then store it in the fridge or do you add the rice cereal right before you give the baby the formula?
Also, is it ok to heat up formula in a bottle warmer that has rice cereal in it?

I add it right before I give it to him, if it sits a while it gets much thicker. Cole takes all his bottles room temp; but I'm sure you could still heat it.

My SIL does this and I babysat all summer for my niece. WHen I would od it, I'd mix the bottle right before the feeding and mix the cereal right in there. I never tried letting it sit but she was using cereal with bananas and if you let it sit for a few minutes it got ugly and grey looking so I just always mixed it right before I fed her.

I always added the cereal after heating the bottle.
