Need help getting back into WW
I have done WW in the past and it has worked for me. I have gained 30lbs since I got married in August 04 and I really need to get serious and start doing something about it. I just feel so disgusted in myself.
I was doing Nutri System before but after about 1.5 months of eating the food I just couldnt eat it anymore.
So I figured I would go back to the healthy eating of WW.
Today is going to be my first day. I need help as to what I should be eating, what foods I should avoid and what other things really help everyone out with their successful weight loss. Thanks, Scott

Re: Need help getting back into WW
Hey Scott,
You and I are in the same boat since I quit NS and went to WW as well.
Anyway heres what I eat to give you an idea. Ive been losing weight - not alot, but at least a pound / week and Ive been working out regulary too.
breakfast -hard boiled egg whites or egg white omlette w/ veggies and 1 packet of low sugar instant oatmeal.
snack - fruit or 100 cal snack pack
lunch - turkey, low fat cheese, lettuce, tomato, mustard n low fat mayo on light bread. (the light multi grain and rye breads are only 1 point for 2 slices)
snack - fruit , 100 cal snack pack, 100 cal bag of popcorn OR low fat pollyo string cheese
dinner - smart one entree , if I cook, I do salmon and veggies or roasted chicken n veggies.
dessert - sugar free jello w/ fat free cool whip or sugar free pudding cups (1 point) and the WW desserts are really good too but those are like 3-4 points.
I stay away from white carbs, sugars, soda, red meat, full fat cheeses and dairy. I also use Splenda instead of sugar whenever I can. FM me if you need any other help and good luck!!

Re: Need help getting back into WW
I'll usually have apple cinnamon oatmeal or cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk for breafast
Lunch is usually 2 ounces of turkey breast on Weight Watchers whole wheat bread, 10 baby carrots and a piece of fruit.
I try to eat yogurt/or another piece of fruit for a snack
Dinner is grilled chicken/ground turkey/whole wheat pasta (I am loving the Celentano reduced fat ravioli- not whole wheat but good!). Sometimes I'll make lean steak
I also really like the lowfat Laughing Cow cheeses. They're only 1 point!

Re: Need help getting back into WW
Scott, try Boca burgers. The regular ones are only 1 pt. If you eat them on a WW english muffin, with lettuce and tomato, it's 3 pts. and pretty filling.
Another thing I try in the mornings is part skim ricotta cheese on a WW english muffin. 1/4 of the cheese is 2 pts, muffin is 2 pts. The protein keeps me full longer than cereal or the muffin with margarine.
I've been having trouble for a while now, but I keep plugging along, because the alternative is to gain back all the weight I have already lost.

Re: Need help getting back into WW
Scott- I did WW for 2 1/2 months before I got pregnant and lost 29 lbs. I swear it was eating 3 hard boiled egg whites(1pt) every morning!
I had the baby 5 1/2 months ago and although I lost all of the weight I gained I would like to go back so I can finish the weight lost I started. I have been saying for the last couple of weeks that I was going to start but haven't- maybe this will help motivate me!!!
