LI IVF vs. North Shore - LIJ IVF

so after another BFN and some discussion with DH - he is ready for me to "get a cup" for a SA. I don't want to go to Quest becuase I want to make sure it's done right and I have heard to many stories where they screw up and then another SA is needed. It took me a few months for DH to agree to do this one IDK how he would react if I told him the lab messed up and they need another one !!

I am assuimg LI IVF and NS-LIJ IVF both let you "produce the sample" at home and bring it in. I was hoping for any SA BTDT pro/cons for both of these places.

Anything would be helpful. I want to try to get it done and have the results before I am due for AF so I can be ready for whatever testing the dr. wants to do on me (repeat CD 3 bloodwork, an HSG, and clomid) He said he won't do anything until DH had the SA results (although I am obviously hoping for a BFP this month !!)

I am a LI IVF success story and have a 3 month old DD from IVF. With LI IVF, your DH can produce a sample at home in a sterile cup and then you can bring it in as long as you live within an hour of their office and keep the sample warm (I always stuck it in my bra). Best of luck.

I called LI IVF and in order for DH to have an SA done there I have to be a patient first.

I called NS-LIJ IVF and they said as long as I have a prescription from a dr. they can do it. My OBGYN is already affiliated with NSLIJ so we made the appt for there. They said my dr. will be able to see the results as soon as they are entered into the system, so I guess it's good that I'm going to bring it there !

I did IVF thru NSLIJ my husband produced there only b/c we live far but they never had a problem with him dropping off a sample only on the day of the retrieval they wanted him to produce there.
I was at RSONY in stonybrook for a year and nothing happened, my first cycle at Northshore I got my BFP later to find out its twins! so i'm all for them here great.
