day 3 didn't go so well
I went in for my day 3 sono and bloodwork, I have an active follice on the right side, estrogen levels are higher than they should be :( Dr. B said he can't give the Letrozole and do the IUI this month, we have to wait until my next day 3 and then if all is clear go ahead with it. If it's not all clear then we will decide what to do next month. Anyone have any experience with something like this? I'm so confused as to what this all means

Re: day 3 didn't go so well
Wow! I can't believe there is someone else experiencing this. I know exactly how you are feeling. This has happened to me the last 2 cycles. I was so disappointed. Both times I had large active follies on CD3 and I have been posting about it on IF, but never get any responses. Since it happened twice in a row Dr B put me on ganirelix after I ovulated. This prevents you from developing follies. Then he put me on injectibles follistim and menopur to help me make eggs. I also stayed on ganirelix except for the first few days to keep me from ovulating prematurely. On Tuesday I had 3 follies all size 15. I am going in today to see if we are ready to trigger. The only difference is we are doing timed relations not IUI. I will check back here or feel free to fm me. I don't know if I will have the answers but I will certainly tell you what I know. And don't bother googling bc there is NOTHING out there. I even had Dr B searching the net while I sat there with him and we still came up with nothin!
