i'm somewhat of a territorial mutt...but I spent years 3-15 in queens. Woodside & Sunnyside.
I remember when my Jr high school was closed down due to asbestos and we had to go to Aviation HS instead...we thought we were such hot shots flirting with the big boys

Can't relate to a half of these and I grew up in Queens (Corona for 1st and 2nd grade, Maspeth from 3rd grade to freshman yr of college, and Woodhaven from college through grad school). I do remember taking buses to my HS in Bayside and hanging out in Bay Terrace all the time. Who is that guy at the mall??

Didn't grow up in queens but live and teach there now. The zoo one cracks me up because i was just there for the millionth time and thought the same things. And cherry valley...many nights saved dinner.
