Ok, God, I get it.... you have a great sense of humor... Edited with an interesting spin on the bottom.....
I'm extra Pms and emotional this month.
My 2 good friends with kids Cailen's age, one just had a baby, and one is pregnant.
Dh At this point made it clear that right now this is not happening and my brain understands but the clock just won't turn off. I cry everyday.
Not to mention everyone and their mother asks me If I want anymore kids, the recent FM issue asking me If I was the preggo in hiding, yada yada yada.
Today I wake up, put on my big girl panties, and just say it will happen If its meant to be....
So, this morning I go to a shool observation in queens, and pass by DH's friends' parents house. We went there one time only- when I was newly pregnant- and for some reason the whole area was etched in my memory because I was so sick with morning sickness. It instantly made me sad. I mean, what are the chances?
Then all day dealing with Pms cramps, a constant reminder that another month is going by.
I have a presentation to do tonight, so I just went to chipotle to dinner. A pregnant woman waddles in, and I instantly remember how much I craved chipotle when pregnant. Sigh.....
And THEN, as I throw my stuff away, a nurse walks in wearing a labor and delivery sweatshirt. That's when I became convinced that someone is effing with my head and laughed. Don't even get me started on how pregnant I LOOK after an entire burrito, bag of chips, guac and soda!!!!!

To be honest......I think this ALL the time!
I literally say out loud.....is this a joke? Cuz if it is....it ain't funny. People must look at me like I have 10 heads....cuz I normally say it when noone is around....... But seriously.........this type of stuff Stings..........Real Bad!
The emotional hurt is so draining! You just want to throw your hands up in the air and just say ..........Please..........come on! I am so done with everything which seems to be shoved in my face.
Perfect example.....lastnite after work, I stop at a card's store and buy like a ton of MOthers Day cards.........well for pretty much Everyone!
I get out of my car.....look in the car parked next to me......and there is not one....not two...............but THREE baby seats in the back seat!
I roll my eyes...........and just laugh and say BUT OF COURSE!!!!!!!!!!

Trust me, I can relate. I got the news that my good friend delivered a boy yesterday and then the fertility Dr. called with SA results 2 minutes later.

Re: Ok, God, I get it.... you have a great sense of humor... Edited with an interesting spin on the bottom.....
So this morning, I'm in Starbucks, and a woman behind me says how cute Cailen is, asks me how old he is... I say he just turned 2... She said her son is 16 and it seems like yesterday. I talked about my stepdaughters. She then said she also has a 5 year old daughter.
Of course, I'm nosy, and ask if its the same marriage. She said yes, that first she waited to have another and then it took "longer than expected"
So, being even nosier,I asked her how old she was when she had DD. She said 42
I told her that was nice to know, since I'm 35 and I feel like my fertility window is slamming shut. She said, "Oh, I wrote a book about it"
The book is alled "A Few Good Eggs" - anyone ever read it?
We got into a long converstaion (poor Cailen is tugging on my leg at this point ) how she suffered secondary infertilty, and no fertility treatments worked, and bam - at 42 doscovered she was pregnant by accident. I was also talking to her because I'm working on a book about a different topic, but also it was nice talking about this with someone.
I even cried a little while talking to her since I have to spill my guts to a stranger at Starbucks So, I think it is weird in a good way that after my day yesterday, first thing in the morning and this happens....

That is a nice way to turn the events of yesterday around. I know how you feel - I am going to be 34 and working on #2. This is month 5 of trying and nothing yet..... Ideally I would like to have 3 so if #2 takes much longer I feel like I will run out of time, however - two of the girls that I became very good friends with after I had my son BOTH had their first baby at 41 and they both plan to try for a second. So, try not to stress just yet about the clock ticking. I know so many who had babies and are a lot older than us! and they are healthy, beautiful babies!

that's great, junky. these kinds of stories make me feel much more comforted too.
my MIL recently told me it took her nearly 3 years to conceive her 2nd after DH..then BAM had her third the following year!
my SIL had her 2nd at 38.
never give up hope has become our new mantra :)
