 advice for newbie charting
i've been a lurker for awhile & will start to chart my cycle (after reading TCOYF) this summer in preparation for TTC. the book was very informative but i feel overwhelmed. you ladies are the experts here- any advice or suggestions to make charting a little bit easier? its not the actual recording information that scares me, its figuring out where to draw the lines that is so confusing!

 Re: advice for newbie charting
Use one of the programs...either Ovusoft or Fertility Friend either of these programs will assist you in determining your ovulation date and your coverline.

 Re: advice for newbie charting
I like Fertility Friend's chart (you can click on the link above in Deb's post) plus it is free. (Ovusoft is $39.99).
Once you start entering your temps, the charting programs will enter your coverline for you.
One thing I do that makes charting easier is I keep the thermometer in the night tabe drawer so as soon as my eyes open I temp - then i go right to my computer and add in the #. Or if I want to go back to sleep the thermometer remembers the last temp so you can do it later.
PLus you can always ask us any questions
