40 Weeks and 6 days....

So I am one hour away from being 1 whole week late! Physically, I actually feel fine. I have had an amazing pregnancy and don't want to complain....but MENTALLY, I am starting to go nuts!!!!! Family and friends have been so supportive and sweet - they call and text and email asking how I am feeling, but it is definitely adding to my stress. Of course, I am not upset with anyone, I appreciate it a lot - it makes me feel good that people care so much, but at the same time I am saying the same things over and over and over again. So I am sort of venting right now, but not really. I cried twice today because I just don't know what to so with myself I know it will happen when and how it is supposed to happen.....but I JUST WANT TO HOLD MY BABY ALREADY...the anticipation of this birth is KILLING me! Thanks for reading if you made it this far

Now that you just vented on here, you will go in labor tonight watch. LOL

Just try to stay calm, even though I know that isn't easy. You will be holding your baby very soon, and it will be well worth the wait.

I cant imagine how frustrating it must be. I cant handle the anticipation now and I still have a week and a half.

I totally understand. I was 8 days late with #1. It's definitely frustrating.

Thank you ladies! I did have some new "pains" last night so maybe now something is starting up.

Just remember that within the next week, you will look back on this post and say "Ahh, they are finally here"

just saw your post title and it made me ...i was induced at 40w, 6d so it reminded me of the day my DD was born.
Hang in there and best of luck to you!
Any plans to induce you? My OB doesn't let you go more than a week late...he used to - my sister was a full 2 weeks late and induced then.

Turn off your cell if that is adding to your stress...people mean well checking in so much at the end but I hear you - it gets stressful. I stopped taking any calls...let it go to VM and didn't return anyone's calls. People have to understand. At that point I just wanted to rest and relax and not really talk to anyone.

If I make it to my next dr appt...Wed is a growth sono and Thurs with the dr - then we will make plans to induce...so I technically have at least one more week of this waiting
