Went to the Dr. today 40 weeks 4 days pg...
And I'm 80% effaced and 2 cm dilated.  I guess it's better then last weeks appointment where I wasn't dilated at all.  I feel at least that I made SOME progress.
The Dr. said she is really please with how things are moving along and that she would rather see me go naturally than to be induced. She also said she doesn't see it going past this weekend. I know they don't have a crystal ball when it comes to this so I don't want to get my hopes up.
I really give you girls credit that deliver really late... it's not easy waiting and getting all of the phone calls. I had friends and family not go away this past holiday weekend because I was due and here nothing happened and they could have went... oh well. 
I feel like I've run a marathon and have reached the finish line and I'm like alright give me my prize already... and they are like nope not yet!! 
My MIL was 4 weeks late with all 4 of her kids... I really can not imagine that!!!

I agree, the phone calls are sooo annoying!
I hope  comes really soon!
Most drs and midwives won't let you go past 2 weeks late nowadays, so the end is near! When is your next appointment?

And thank god for that!!!! I can't imagine.
My next appt. is on Friday, where they will do the Non-stress test. Hopefully I won't need to even go to that appointment... again it's all wishful thinking  .
Here's hoping you go into labor tonight!!! 
Anyword from KarenAnthony? Is she in labor as we speak?

Boy, tuesday seemed to be OB visit day today.
Glad to hear you're making progress. Looks like within the next week we'll be having quite a few birth announcements!!
