4 weeks old and still has the umbilical stump??
DD is 4 weeks old and her darn stump is still on. I know they say it "should" fall off within the first 2 weeks. What the heck?
It has never been infected, no oozing, redness, nothing.
Just keep leaving it alone? Or should I call ped for some reason?

DS' took exactly 4 weeks to fall off, so I'd prob wait a few more days

I would call your dr. DD's was on at almost 4 weeks and they corterized (sp?) it to get it to come off.

Genevieve had hers until over a month old! Dr. said sometimes they just take a little longer.
