3rd trimester girls and stress...
Is anyone else under an immense amount of stress? I'm 15 days away from my due date and the amount of stress I'm feeling at work has been mind-boggling. I feel like I'm mentally handling it well, but it's starting to cause me to have really bad contractions all day long. not close enough to be labor, but about every 15-20 minutes. In fact, I had such a stressful time at work yesterday that I was up all night having terrible contractions and didn't sleep. Then I had to take off today because I literally did not sleep last night. I wish I could stop working right now, but I have obligations I have to see through before I have the baby. I try so hard to just let it go, but I feel like my body just reacts terribly these days to the stress of everything. Under normal circumstances, I can handle stress at work really well, but lately, I just can't keep up.

Re: 3rd trimester girls and stress...
My third trimester starts in 2 weeks and the next coming months at work are the most stressful for me all year, it's already beginning!
I really just need to try to not let work get to me as much or I'll be in big trouble.
Try to relax, you're almost there!!!

Re: 3rd trimester girls and stress...
My doctor made me stop working after my appointment on Monday. My blood pressure was out of control and she felt between the commute and teaching a bunch of teenage jerks would be dangerous to me and the baby. Plus the fact that this kid is measuring off the charts and my fluid levels are too much. I am actually going for an aminio and if the baby's lungs are good they are going to take him out next week at 37 weeks.
I actually am still working until Friday but then I am done. I am having contractions at night and today I started having them on the train which scared me. That was enough for me to listen to her.
I understand how you feel about having obligations. Nobody could understand why I continued to work after my doctor gave me an out. I couldn't just walk away.
You are almost there! Could you take a day here and there until the end?
