3D Sonogram....covered by insurance?
I just switched doctors...my new dr. had amazing technology compared to my older doctor. I had an ultrasound yesterday (I'm 8w3d) and the baby looked like a BABY...it was crazy. My previous ultrasound a week ago looked like a smudge that was hard to make out.
Her equipment also has 3D sonograms, which was really exciting. My friend warned me that this may not be covered by insurance down the line.
Did any of you have the 3D done in with your dr. and were NOT charged extra by insurance? Thanks!

I know with my insurance the 3d was not covered.

I have had them in office by my doc's sonogram technician.. i wasn't charged for it.
