Sooo.. We have been there twice in the past. Once with a tour and once alone with the dogs. I know that dogs are allowed there in certain areas of the park. We brough the dogs last time and a park gaurd questioned us and we told him we are going on the path to see the seals, with a leash.

He said. Good. Have a nice day. It was a crazy windy day.. we didn't see any seals. LOL

So I called today just to see if there have been recent seal sitings to make sure we don't waste a trip.

The lady was SOOO NASTY!!! She was MAD that we couldn't get from Bellmore to there in 1/2 hour to take the guided tour. I then doubled checked to make sure that dogs were allowed on that particular path.

She was like, "leave your dog home. they are not allowed near the seals". She then hung up.

So does anyone know the real answer? As long as the dog is leashed and not nuts, isn't she allowed on the path leading up to the seal viewing hut? Not on the beach, of course....

TIA.
