38 weeks and bleeding

So I went to the Dr. for the internal yesterday and OUCH. I know bleeding is common after an internal but I am BLEEDING. Does anyone else get this or should I be totally freaked? I called Dr. emergency line last night with no call back.

I had no bleeding after the internal, but I did hear some bleeding may occur. I'd call the Doc again and again till they call back. Hope you feel better

i had an internal last week at 36 weeks and i definitely spotted for 2 days after, but i wouldnt call it bleeding. i hope the dr calls you back! or you should call again as soon as they open!

after my first internal I started spotting, thought I was in labor bc I was already 2 cm dilated -- dr. had me go to L&D just to be sure. I wasn't in labor but lost my mucous plug over the next few days and had the baby a week after.

As far as bleeding bleeding....I would call ur dr and go to the hospital if it continues.

Sounds to me the start of labor and is probably your bloody show.
I would call the doctor and let them know.

If you are bleeding I would go in to see the doctor. Spotting is normal after internals. Bleeding isn’t. That is what I was told at the hospital on Monday.

So I was going to go to the dr as per his instructions, but now the color (sorry TMI) turned much darker which means that its okay. That was scary. Thanks for the advice everyone.
