Where are you shopping for baby furniture?

My mom just asked us last night if we picked out our furniture? I have an idea of what style/color/pieces I'd want but never really gave it much thought to get down and start looking.

Most of the stores we came up with in our area (besids BRU) have since gone out of business.

Where are you/ have you gone looking/buying? Please give a town. TIA!

Also, when did you go? I'm 16 weeks and was thinking at least until after our 20week and/or movement really starts. I just feel like I'm still growing a baby and did not want to get too far ahead of ourselves.

ETA: Please write out abbreviations. I'm still in wedding world thinking BBB is Bed Bath and Beyond! Do they sell baby furniture?

We ordered our furniture from BBB when I was 20 weeks- I kinda wish I would've gone sooner since the furniture we ordered can take anywhere from 16-20 weeks to come in! Our Lil One might be here before the furniture arrives

We recently bought ours at BBB and I am 31 weeks. Luckily they had it in stock!!

We haven't really looked at furniture at all yet. I am 18 weeks today. We will probably go over February break when I will be 22 weeks. I think we will look at BRU and Behrs.

We went to behrs in hicksville. I ordered it in september i was 12 weeks and it didnt arrive untill middle of december. So def. go look and order. I know behrs allowed you to cancel with 100% refund if god forbid anything should happen and if it is still to early to deliver they will hold for you at the store untill your ready for delivery. Good luck and have fun. I thought it was very overwhelming

Sukons in Ozone Park!!!

Everything about them is awesome! We bought our crib from them (I live in NJ) it was in much faster than they told us AND they will hold it for us until the baby comes since we are not brining anything into the house until she is home. They will deliver it to us out here and put it together!

Working with them was a great experience!

we're going to get our rocker and dresser today from babies r us (i'm going to be 20 weeks tomorrow). the rest of the stuff is going to have to wait until we move in november and have somewhere to put it (we're in a 1 bedroom now) so we're not in a rush.

Oh! Never heard of them. Thanks! Seems like a lot more stores out in Nassau. I'm in Suffolk.

We are going to order ours by the end of the month. We have been to Behr and Bellini (on 110 just south of buybuybaby). We are probably going with Bellini because I like that i can pick whatever pieces I want and that I can have a changing table and hutch on the long dresser at the same time. I also like their changing table.

I ordered from Buy Buy baby as well. You really do need to go into Nassau for furniture. The only place in Suffolk is BRU.
I first ordered the crib and changing table and they told me it would take around 8-12 weeks. It came in around 4 weeks later. I just went today to order another piece and they now have my set in stock. I could of picked it up today. I used 20% coupons for each piece which saved us over $200. You should go and at least look.

I also went to Behrs and Bellini. You should check them out as well. It seems Behrs has the longest wait for their furniture. So, you may want to order early from them.

haven't ordered our furniture yet, but planning in the next few weeks from BBB. they have great stuff!!!

We ordered all our furniture from Bellini in dec. when I was about 24 weeks or so. We actually just called them to set up delivery for next monday!

We looked at BRU, BBB, Behr's and Sukons. Sukons carries the set we want so we are going with them.

Im pretty sure we're going to go back to Behrs, but I'd like to check out Bellini also.

We bought DS' crib adn DD's crib at Bellini's and they are having a sale buy one get the other for 50% off... I just ordered DD's today and they are delivering it next monday

We just orderd 2 cribs and a 6 drawer dresser today from BRU. They have them in stock so I just have to wait for the call to set up delivery!!

Funny... just checked out the website. They have a set called Lily and a set called Logan... that's two of or name choices!
