and Im really sick. I guess its a cold. I have a bad cough, Im congested one minute then have a runny nose the next, my throat hurts when I swallow and Im achy. Ive called out of work yesterday and today. Think I should call the dr? My feet and hands are very swollen. Usually happens later in the day when Ive been on my feet but now even when I wake up theyre swollen.
I dont want to keep calling out sick, I only have two more weeks of work but I dont even want to get out of bed
My next appt is Monday should I wait or see if maybe they can take me earlier?

Yes, call the doctor.
If it's viral there isn't much they can do but if they think it's bacterial, you want to get started on antibiotics now. Plus swelling this late is something your doctor will want to know about. And it can never hurt to call. If nothing else, they'll just tell you to hang tight until next week. But better to be safe and let them know what's going on.

I just got back from the dr and I'm glad I went. Turns out I have strep and they told me not to work the rest of the week. Ugh.
The speech went terribly! I was so nervous the paper I read from was literally shaking so much. I was so anxious about it i started dry heaving during cocktail hour and almost backed out! How did yours go?

I would call I was sick right before I wound up delivering and the dr wanted to put me on antibiotics so I could be as healthy as possible.
