36 Week Appointment
Well, Monday I went for my 36 week appointment and everything was good. The baby's head is starting to move in the downward position. I gained 3 lbs which makes it 22 lbs in 36 weeks, which I think is really good. The Dr took a culture to make sure that I don't have an infection down below but if I do they take care of it while I am in labor. Now I start going to the Dr every week and he said that it should be a couple more weeks before my little one arrives. Also, I have 2 weeks left of work.

that sounds like a great report!! i've also gained 22 pounds, but nothing in the past 4 weeks or so (strict GD diet). they said the baby is a little over 5 pounds now. i'm 35 weeks and the baby is still breach. OB said they will attempt a version at 36 or 37 weeks if the baby makes no progress. looks like i'll be going early- with my GD they won't let me go past 39 weeks- they'll induce. i'm praying that everything just happens naturally!
did they give you an estimated weight of the baby? good luck & keep us updated!

Everything will be great with you too. As of last week, my baby was sideways and within the last week he moved head down. My Dr did not give me an estimated weight of the baby but about 2 weeks ago my Dr sent me to a high risk Dr and he told me that the baby was about 5 lbs so this baby is probably going to weigh over 7 lbs.
