Tell Me About Your Stroller!!!!!!!!

Can you tell we're in the registering process? The whole stroller thing is stressing me out! OK...tell me what stroller you have and if you like it. Thank you!!!!!

We just traded out the Graco Quattro that we had registered for and went with the Graco Metrolite instead. There was a 12 lb. difference! Obviously we haven't used it yet, but we put it together last night and fooled around with it, it seems like it'll be great!

we got the Inglesina Zippy mainly because it is light and has a super easy one hand fold. I really wanted the bugaboo or the quinny, but being a suburban mom, it seemed more of a hassle. The Inglesina does come with a strap so you can attach any car-seat (we got the Maxi Cosi)

I did not like my Graco travel system, but I love my jogging stroller (which is actually DHs "man stroller"). BBB does not carry it anymore, but this one is close:

we registered for the maxi cosi foray...

i was on the fence between the maxi cosi and the inglesina zippy . i decided on the maxi cosi b.c babies r us does not carry inglesinas in their store. you order online.
i never got around to test driving one but if i do and end up liking it better, i might exchange.

i did a lot of research on strollers...
from what i hear and read, stay away from travel systems ( strollers that come with infant carriers). they are big and bulky and mothers end up hating them.

if you see a stroller you like, try to youtube it. i came across a youtube video by babygizmo.com that did a demo of many popular strollers.

good luck! i know finding the right stroller was the most frustrating part for me!

We ended up with the Baby Jogger City Mini. We were also going to get a bugaboo, but since we live in the burbs and our stroller is going in and out of the car it just didn't make sense. The City Mini is very light, folds with one hand, and you can purchase the attachment for the car seat as well. So far we are pleased with our decision.

We also got the Baby Jogger City Mini. It is lightweight and so easy to fold. We were originally going to get the Peg Perego Skate as well, but it is just too heavy. We live in the city right now but are moving to the burbs and needed something to suit both. There is no way I'd be able to carry the Skate down subway stairs, etc, ever. Yesterday we looked at other strollers and almost got the Peg Perego Aria in addition, but I did some more research and found you can get a car seat adapter AND bassinet for the City Mini, so that's what we are going to do. I love this stroller.

We finally registered for our stroller this weekend and we decided on the Peg Perego Pliko 3.

We checked it out in several stores and each salesperson we spoke to mentioned this stroller being a "top seller"

It has a full recline- you can get an infant care seat to attach (we aren't-we are using a snap and go with graco infant car seat), has an easy open and close- is fairly light- fits in my small car- I love the colors they come in (we chose Moka), highly recommended- I did LOTS of research

The one we were deciding between was the Bumbleride Indie or the Bumbleride Flyer- Flyer was about the same weight- easy close, but I thought it was a difficult open- they look nice- they are comparable in price- have similar features- but this has the flip handles so you can see the baby-

Salespeople stated that if I were choosing between Perego and the bumbleride- I should go with Perego...

we also looked at the Bugaboo-two of them- but for our purposes it was not a good fit-suburban life-using it often-it was heavy and I didn't want all the "parts"

looked at The city jogger mini (probably getting the name wrong) LOVE the close and open on it and it is so light- but also not a good fit for us...

there are so many- I would make a list of what you want from your stroller- and then research, ask other moms, ask salespeople...

We have the Peg Perego Pliko 3 also, we love it so far...we just started using it recently, we had the snap 'n go before that.

I have the Chicco Cortina Travel System and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it so far. Very easy to pop open, carseat comes in and out easily, it's small and nimble, and Emerson is so comfy in it. I'm happy with my purchase!!

We have a Graco Metrolite and used it first with the infant carrier and now as a regular stroller for DS. I love it! It's so light and easy to fold and unfold, has a lot of room in the basket and is very easy to maneuver. We'll use it for the new baby as well.

We also have a BOB Revolution for jogging and love that as well.

We debated between the Inglesina Zippy, Baby Jogger City Mini and the Peg Perego Pliko P3. We loved the City Mini but felt the basket was too small. I loved the way it rode, though. I probably would have gone with the Zippy if it didn't have to be a special order. In the end, we chose the Peg. We loved how smooth it drove, loved the easy fold and it reclined almost fully.
