Those of you who had chemical pregnancies...or just know anything about them
did you start to TTC again right away? Is that advisable? I guess the way I look at it is, my period was 4-5 days late, so at least now I can check out my fertility calendar and look ahead....
Could be a VERY stupid question but I need to feel better about this right now....so to know that we can try in a couple weeks just makes me feel better. Thanks.

Re: Those of you who had chemical pregnancies...
I'm so sorry. I think that you are very fertile right after. I think that doctors just like for you to wait one period so that they can properly date the next pregnancy, but I've heard of plenty of people getting pregnant right after.

Re: Those of you who had chemical pregnancies...or just know anything about them
We kept trying because they said that a chemical pregnancy is really not like a miscarriage and most people don't even find out they are pregnant that early and dont test so they would never know. I ended up getting pregnant 2 months later! Good luck!!

Re: Those of you who had chemical pregnancies...or just know anything about them
I had two chemicals back to back, and the following cycle-- got pregnant again and it stuck.
I never stopped TTC-- and no one told me not to.
At least you know you are conceiving-- a lot of people have chemicals. They are much more common than people think.

mine was called a chemical pregnancy...we were pregnant three weeks later.
Look at it this way, if you would have never tested, you would have just thought your period was late a few days and would have tried next month, right?

Since I was under the care of an RE when I had my chemical, it was advised for me to wait one cycle so we could make sure that all else was ok.

Re: Those of you who had chemical pregnancies...or just know anything about them
I had a chemical pg, waited one month to "regulate" and then started TTC the next month. We got pregnant the next month and have a beautiful little boy now. On a side note, I had low progesterone with my pregnancy and had to take suppositories for the first trimester. I believe it may have contributed to my first loss.

Same exact thing here except I have a DD My second pregnancy was fine and progesterone was not needed. Hugs to you
