3 Kids? What do you drive?
Having my third and alot of my friends have the Honda Odyssey MiniVan. Anyone drive somehting else besides a minivan?

I drive a Chrystler Aspen. I love it!!! We were between that and the Ford Flex and got a better deal on the Aspen so we went with that.

GMC Yukon Denali XLT and I LOVE it!! It is only a few inches longer than a mini van.
You could easily put 3 car seats across the middle if you had a bench seat in the second row. I have captain chairs and then the 3rd row which is a 50/50 split. My trunk space is still great even with the 3rd row in use.
I used to have #2 and #3 in the middle row. Now I have #1 & #2 in the the 3rd row and only #2 in the middle. It comes in handy if I need to sit next to her to feed her with out climbing all the way to the back.

This is exactly what we are going to do, but I think with the cadillac escalade. My lease on my current car is up in April so we bought new cars seats to squeeze 3 across till then.

I agree.
The only other option for me would be something huge like a suburban and with gas prices it is worth it to have the minivan. the sliding doors are a big big plus in parking lots too.

I also want to add that the Yukon we have is Flex Flue and I know they make the Esclade in a Hybrid. I don't have Flex flue by me so it isn't an option to use but I know they have it in NY.

Only have 2 kids but I watch my niece a lot and I have the Honda Pilot. Same gas mileage as the Oddessy and I love it.
You can put three car seats in a row in the middle seat or two in the middle and one in the third row. There are four anchors total.

even with 3rd row it has a decent amount in trunk

I agree with all this.
It is soo easy to get the kids in and out. And I've got 3 strollers in the trunk. I also love that I can easily get to the back row if I need to, and that the second row chairs can easily move - the middle "jump" seat is removable.
ETA: I used to be one of those never want a minivan people too, but the first day I had it I loved it and don't regret it for a second.

DH loves driving the Odyssey!
He has his own truck (an older Toyota 4 Runner) but enjoys driving my minivan.

I have a 3 year old  and newborn 
We got the Toyota Sienna. Never wanted to be a minivan mom but the automatic doors/trunk, entertainment package, leather seats (easy clean up), space, and lots of other extras made it worth it.
We were between the Odyssey and Sienna. We chose the Sienna because its the only minivan that offers AWD and I felt it was much roomier inside.'
As far as DH was concerned. He decided it was time for a minivan. I still wanted to consider SUVs with 3rd rows

Chevy Traverse - love it! It has a 3rd row and captain's chairs in the middle so getting to the back is easy. Even when the 3rd row is up we still have room for our double stroller plus packages. It is SO roomy.
