3 hour glucose test
what can i expect today? i faled the hour test, so i have to go today for the 3 hour. is it awful?

i was given 2 minutes to drink the drink, then you wait. Every hour they bring you in for blood.
The waiting is more annoying then anything.

It wasn't that bad. I just took it last week. Try not to look at the clock too much. The worst problem I had was wanting to drink water and I was getting hungry. You can drink water up until you take the drink, so I drank as I was driving there.
I brought my shower thank yous to do while I was there to kill time. Find something you've wanted to read or do to keep yourself going.

they told me nothing after 11 pm last night. so i don't think i can even have water.

You can have water. They mean calories that can interfere with the sugar levels. Even before she gave me the drink, she offered me a glass of water. (LIterally 1 minute before I was to drink the drink.) Call and ask. They can't expect a PG woman to not have water for 12 hours.
