2nd baby shower gift ideas
Any suggestions on gifts for a 2nd baby shower for 2nd baby (different sex - girl this time)? I spent a lot on the first baby shower but it's for my SIL. Help! And the shower is in abou 10 days so I can't really order something!

2nd baby shower gift ideas
Girl outfits, Girl accessories--clips, bows, headbands etc. Does she have all big items from baby #1?
Girls on here gave me a great idea for a book basket. Maybe you can do girly themed books? Pinkalicious etc..

2nd baby shower gift ideas
Make a basket of girl stuff. Focus on something such as Girl clothes; girl blankets, girl swaddles; girly bedding; girly decorations for room
New Bathtub with girly products in the tub including baby wash, towels, toys...
Big products she may need:
New car seat cover in a girl color
New stroller fabric in girl color (if she has an uppababy or something)
Depending on how old the older one is the ride on attachment for her stroller

If you know the name the personalized gifts are nice.
My mother bought DD the "Anywhere Chair" personalized from Pottery Barn and she loves it!! It's def. a different type of gift.
A nice basket of cute girl clothes and bows is nice.

2nd baby shower gift ideas
I had a sprinkle for my 2nd (different sex) and some things i liked were-
1. Girl themed swaddles
2. Clothing
3. Bath tub/ insert
4. Girl themed bedding
5. Changing pad with girl themed cover
6. Girl colored diaper pail
7. Gift cards
I didnt need anymore:
1. Books- had loads from my son
2. Blankets- had an over abundance
3. Toys
4. Anything personalized/ baby books- received so many the 1st time around

For my second of a different sex, I just wanted clothes.
Another option is to ask her what kind of car seat she will need when baby grows out of the infant seat.

I wouldn't spend as much as I did on the 1st shower, especially if there wasn't at least 4 years between. I think the idea of getting a basket or the likes filled with cute small girly things would be awesome. For my friend's 2nd baby shower, I did a whole bath theme. I got her baby soap, lotion, rubber duckies, towels. Though that's fairly gender neutral. Maybe a girly themed gift could also just include fun hair ties and headbands, etc that baby girl will get to use for a while.

Thanks for the ideas...her son is 2.5 so I don't think she needs anything big...I guess I'll get some girly themed items and maybe the Aden and Anasis crib blanket in girl colors (it's my go to gift).
