2mo old w/ constipation
DD hasnt pooped in 4 days now, i gave an 1oz pear juice w/ 2 oz water but she doesnt really like it and still no poop....ive stuck a rectal thermomoter....any other ideas? how long is too long? i BF...

My DD was like that and her ped said to give prune juice and it worked.

Poor baby. My little guy has constipation issues as well. At 2 months his ped said to put 1tsp of dark Karo syrup in every other bottle. That didn't really work for him. Now at 3 months the MD said to give up to 2oz of prune juice a day for three days. This worked for DS we gave it to him Tues, wed, Thurs last week and he has pooped every day since without the struggle.
My mom keeps saying to boil fennel seeds in water and give the water to the baby.
