296 on 24 hour urine. ??

Was told that its fine. But then told oveer 300 is high. So??? Lol. Bp is 124 over 82 today. Eta. Sorry 296 is the number checking for preeclamsia

Just lurking .. hope you don't mind my non-pregnant opinion ... but I noticed you frequently come on here either disagreeing with what the dr says is normal or not trusting that the drs know what they're doing .. etc..

My personal feeling is if you don't trust that your drs are giving you the right information, why not get another opinion from a different doctor?

I just say this because a board full of ladies can say what they think... but ultimately if this is something you are concerned about, you should be getting REAL medical advice!

Is there a reason you don't trust them?

Gotcha! I have no clue then! lol. Sorry! But I would imagine if your MD said he wasn't worried, then I would guess it's OK.

never said that. I like to hear from other women who are being screened for this nbecause yes a lot of docs hjave dif opinions. The reg ob as u know I don't trust his office to give me accurate reading and when one office says one thing and the other days another I like to see what womens doctors have said with particular numbers

btw i dont trust anyone 100 percent bc there is human error and poor docs are run ragged everyday with a thousand patients so as annoying as i may be...would rather question a few times and make sure i understand.
i cannnnnnot tell you how many times things have/or could have fallen through the cracks if i hadnt been a pest..even with the bestest of docs

I delivered my son at a day short of 31 weeks due to preeclampsia. I had no symptoms before I reached 30 weeks. Then I had blurry vision and a headache that wouldnt quit and was so painful. My pressure was 142 over 92 at the doctors office. I went up to 200/90-100 which is why they decided to deliver so early. I did have protein in my urine but they never gave me the number. They have me on blood pressure meds still but i am hoping to be off them tomorrow since my pressures have been good since I have been monitoring it at home since being released from the hospital. My doctors wanted my pressures under 130/80-85. I hope this helps you some. If you have any oter questions, please let me know!
