What prenatals are you on?
My doctor told me to start taking prenatals as soon as I go off the pill. She gave me a bunch of samples, which ones are you on and do you like them? Also, a friend of mine told me that I need to take folic acid for six months before a ttc and another one told me that I should be taking the prenatals for six months before  . What did all of you do? I still have a couple of months (end of the summer) before I stop the pill.

I have been taken taken target brand on and off. You can get them at target. I don't think that they are as expensive as the other brands.

a very lovely friend of mine got me the Target brand because she knows of all of my gastro issues. She has similar issues & these do NOT bother her belly & to date (i've been on them for 2 months) - they have NOT bothered mine either!

My doctor prescribed PreCare for me but also said that I could use CVS brand with a folic acid supplement. That's what I've been doing, until my I get my BFP!

i just started taking 800mcg of folic acid pills and im going off the pill this week!

I take OneSource Prenatals. Big purple bottle from WalMart. Mine actually did make my tummy hurt a little at first. So, I started taking them at night. No problems since.

I started taking my pre-natals 3 months before we conceived. I loved them from day 1, just had to take them at night before bed which wasn't a problem.
I'm on Vitafol - OB + DHA
They're great and never caused any constipation.

My OB/GYN put me on prenatals when I told her we were going to start TTC in a few months. I take the PrimaCARE One. I have always had issues with constipation and it has improved since taking these.

I'm on PrimaCare One also, but they are really expensive, even with insurance. I do really like them....not problems with constipation and my hari and nails are growing great....i just can't seem to grow a baby too! 
anyway, the doctor told me to keep taking the PNVs, but i have started taking a centrum with a folic acid and an omega 3 instead to try and save myself a little money in the meantime....not sure if that's smart, but it's what i'm doing. i was taking the target ones for awhile and they made me really constipated....

PreCare - take it at night after dinner - no stomach issues and no nausea.
(took it before eating in the AM the first week and became VERY nauseus and had a yuck stomach)
