(CNN) -- The teenage son of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan was discharged Monday from a Florida hospital after he slammed his Toyota Supra into a palm tree in a wreck local police called "spectacular."
Nick Bollea, 17, was driving at a "high rate of speed" when he wrecked Sunday evening, police say.
A representative answering the patient information line at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, said Nick Bollea, 17, had been discharged. Bollea is the son of Hogan, whose real name is Terrence Bollea.
Bollea's passenger in the Sunday crash, John Graziano, 22, remained in critical condition at Bayfront on Monday afternoon, said hospital spokeswoman Nancy Waite.
"Nick is currently at the hospital with John and his family," said Bollea's mother, Linda Hogan, in a statement. "His sole concern is for the well-being of his friend. On behalf of my family, we ask that your thoughts and prayers be with John and his loved ones."
Nick Bollea was driving at a "high rate of speed" Sunday evening when he lost control of the yellow Supra, said Wayne Shelor, a spokesman for the Clearwater, Florida, police.
The car "inexplicably left the roadway," jumped a median and crashed into a palm tree just east of downtown, Shelor said.
"It destroyed the car," he said.
Firefighters had to extract Bollea and Graziano from the wreckage. Both were flown by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center, Shelor said.
Police shut down the mile-long Court Street, the main east-west thoroughfare through central Clearwater, as they investigated the accident, he said.
"It was a spectacular wreck," Shelor said.
Footage from the crash site showed Hogan speaking to paramedics and police officers and talking on a cell phone. Hogan later went to the St. Petersburg hospital, Shelor said.
No charges have been filed, according to Clearwater police.

I used to go down to Clearwater all the time when I used to live there and he was a moron for speeding where he crashed. It curves and then goes right to a bridge. Maybe he was trying to drift around the corner. Anyways he should definnately be charged and his license should be taken away for a few years.

OK, I'll keep the first one tame. I may have told it on here before, but here it goes.
I used to work for one of the biggest nightclub owners in NY. So when my 25th b-day came around, he made sure that I had a great time as I was convinced that life was over. So we started out the night at CoCo's, and had limo service for myself and about 10 of my friends. There were about 40 people waiting at the bar for me, however, and 3 with bottles of champagne. At that point I was in a Vodka phase, so I was drinking Kamikaze shots all night. The bartender later told me I did about 37 shots in addition to the few glasses of champagne I had earlier. Well needless to say I was HAMMERED. So I woke up th next morning in a strange bed. I went outside to find that I was in a hotel. I looked around & nothing looked familiar so I checked out the local paper at the front desk. I WAS IN MAINE. Apparently, the limo driver rang up my boss to tell him & my boss thought it might be a fine time to play a prank on me and had his driver take me to Maine. He was right around the corner, but at the time I had no idea how I got there & had no idea where my ID, money, or credit cards were. It was pretty hairy at the time, but now it cracks me up.
DH told me later on that they had called him & my other friends in case I called them in a panic to let them know I was OK & that the driver "had my back." And DH still married me anyway...imagine that

Maybe if we talk about the ridiculous game last night. I am not a fan but DH was HYSTERICAL. The ball park was empty, the announcers were talking about WWII, and the mets were getting SPANKED and no one cared......The whole scene was bizzare.
