yes it is real. it was actually taken on the "a" train - it was a group of high school kids.
it was posted on the same website that the kids were posting all that hazing stuff a while back.
fortunately they were able to track down the person who posted it - it was pulled off the website and school officals were contacted.

true but it is still sickening...I look around at all these young kids (even the ones not beating people up on the A train) and I am scared for our future

Ya know-- i didn't even think of that--how someone just watched and did nothing. but honestly i'm not surprised. i have to admit--i'm not sure what i would do -- cause these days you never know what someone might do---like if one of those kids pulls a knife or gun on ya. sadly in this day and age, no good deed goes unpunished. thats why so many ppl just stand there rather than get involved--cause they are afraid of what might happen to them.
its stuff like this that makes me cringe that DH is a cop...he deals with these hoodlums daily

i agree - but i was raised very unconventionally for NYC resident and my big mouth ends up involved in everything. the more you shut up and watch the more people think no one is going to do anything. very true i probably wouldnt have jumped in the mix of 5 guys fighting but i def wouldnt have stood there taping it.

OMG...after my experience last week on the M train (rush hour) to work, I'm not surprised that not a single sole did a thing.
To briefly tell the story:
Guy & Gal (20s) got on the train at Atlantic Avenue, Gal stood leaning on the door right next to my seat, Guy leans on the pole facing the Gal.
Next stop an older (50s) woman gets on the train and wanted to hold onto the pole where the Guy was leaning. Needless to say instead of saying "excuse me" (no, I do not believe he was doing the right thing by leaning on the pole so no one else can hold onto it, but sometimes we do not realize what we're doing) the woman elbows him in his back.
The Guy turns to the woman and says "excuse me, but you could have spoken to me, instead of elbowing me in the back."
Woman: "You should be ashamed of yourself, and I have rights."
Guy: "It's a simple excuse me."
Woman: "I have rights."
Guy: "Next time, talk to your pastor/rabbi/priest, or my D1ck." {guy is grabbing said D1ck at this point}
Woman: "You're disgusting."
Guy: "Be careful of who you touch on the subways."
{woman now elbows him AGAIN.}
Guy: "Do it again, and I'm going to knock your teeth out."
{woman elbows him AGAIn.}
{Guy knocks the woman in the jaw, and woman drops to the ground.}
Police were called...and not a single passenger, including myself blinked...do I regret not saying anything or stepping in - unfortunately not - I do not need to be a victim on the train b/c NO ONE helps you!

and then my friends tracked them down at their school and jumped them the next day.
it's the same few schools that "run" the A train during school hours.
most people are more embarrassed than afraid.
and truth be told, you don't know what any of these kids could have on them.
back in the day, I was scared of getting sliced with a razor.
these days, that's the LEAST of what they could be packing.

sorry this happened to u-did anyone do anything while they jumped u?
a few years ago, i was sittin in the corner of the train and a bunch of thugs sat near me-when my stop came, they were blocking my way so i said, "excuse me"
one of them imitated the way i said it, i guess they didnt like th eway i said it.
then they all started-so i looked the one kid in the face n said "shut the F*** up".
n honestly-they shut up
totally not smart on my part tho. lol
