progesterone question????

My dr. has me on porgesterone suppositories starting after ovulation. This was my first cycle using them, I started them on 2 or 3 DPO and I had 14 pills to take, then I was suppose to test. Well I got my period on 14 DPO but I was still using the pills, I was only on the 11th one. Do you normally get your period if you are on progesterone if you are not PG? I thought that you don't get your period until you stop taking them. Is this normal? Should I call my DR?

I had two cycles where I got my period even while taking suppositories, the rest I didn't get it until a few days after stopping.
I think it depends on your natural progesterone level and how much progesterone you are taking.
I take 4 200mg. caplets a day.
When I was taking Crinone it was once a day...

My dr gave my the suppositories (forgot the dosage). Starting at 3DPO, I use one each nite. I stop using them when I get AF. I've found the flow is a bit heavier and a day or 2 longer when I've used them.

I always got my period on time with progesterone. I was also on 400 mg a day
