20 weeks with horrible lower back pain
I know this is probably very normal, but never expected it to be THIS bad. Nothing offers relief, not sitting or laying down. I got up in the middle of the night and put on the heating pad, which helped slightly. OMG….how long does this last for??

It only gets worse. Acupuncture is great though.

Re: 20 weeks with horrible lower back pain
I have very bad back pain and sciatica and unfortunately mine is only getting worse. I am counting down the weeks. Massage helps, so I have DH massage me a little every night. With my first pregnancy he was awesome with the massaging. This time (and it is worse this time) I have to beg and bargain for massages!

I have found that yoga and stretching help with back pain- I also get hip pain and it has made a huge difference. Sleeping with a pillow between your knees also helps.

Thanks girls!!! My mom thought it could be constipation…which is possible…but I feel unlikely. I will get my DH on the massage route, and look into prenatal yoga.
