Re: 20 weeks already!!!

after you reach the 20 week mark, it definitely feels like time flies.

for us, we wanted to wait to do any prep until we knew the gender. now that we know it's a boy, we are busy clearing out the room that will be the nursery, we picked out bedding & the theme, paint colors, etc.

have you started a registry? i have been researching and started putting a few things on there. i think we will go to the store this weekend.

we are also thinking about daycare options.

I was thinking of doing my registry in September. Is that too late? I didnt want to do it too soon and risk that things will be discontinued by the shower.

Re: 20 weeks already!!!

I'm 23 weeks tomorrow and time flew! I've registered already but my shower is oct 1 so I had to get that out of the way. I ordered my furniutre at 20 weeks and we are going to start preping the nursery next week. my furniutre came in so we will be picking it up this weekend. other then that I haven't done anything else.

I would order furniutre though, it takes a while to come in assuming you know what you want already. if not I would get on that ASAP!

you can register 8-10 weeks before your shower, but I went online and started it. it was easy and you can read reviews of products which was super helpful! more so then just looking at stuff in the store.

I really hadn't done anything at that mark yet either because I was waiting on gender. We found out and ordered the furniture first thing in case it was backordered or going to take a while to come in. We started working on the nursery as well.
