Re: 2 under 2...2 high chairs?
I am thinking about using the high chair I presently own for my new baby and getting a booster seat/high chair to fit on my chair for my DS. He will be almost 13 months when the baby is born so by the time the new baby is read to use the high chair he will be at least 16 months. Now I just have to find a booster seat/high chair that will fit my chairs nicely.

Re: 2 under 2...2 high chairs?
DD has been using a booster seat for a while now - the highchair took up so much room we put it away.

DD is in a booster, DS is in a highchair that straps to a chair.

DS (#1) is still in the highchair and I have DD (#2) in a space saver chair. It works out well.

Re: 2 under 2...2 high chairs?
When baby 2 comes along, baby 1 will be 16 months. So by the time baby 2 is ready for a highchair, baby 1 will be at least 20 months and good for a booster.

I would get a chair like a Stokke Tripp Trapp for the older child, it will grow with you child and you can use it for years. I have one for my son and its fantastic (well I have a knock off...) But I love it. Easy to clean, he can eat at the table, I love it.

I think that I might have to put this one on my wishlist

Re: 2 under 2...2 high chairs?
DS and DD were 19 months apart. By the time DD was ready for the highchair, DS didn't really use his as much. He either sat in it when she wasn't eating, sat at his little table, or sat with a booster seat at our table. There are ways around it, and I wouldn't spend the money on another highchair.
