Re: 2 under 2 Mommies
I will have 2 exactly 2 years apart in October. Jack was born on the 19th, baby girl due on the 22nd! We've transitioned Jack to his toddler bed this month mainly because he climbed right out. So far, so good after about a week of screaming, kicking and trashing his room.
My main decision right now is what kind of double stroller to get. I absolutely hate those monster double strollers, but I'm not sure if the sit and stand will do the trick b/c Jack will have just turned 2.
Oh...and CONGRATS!

Re: 2 under 2 Mommies
mine were 17m apart, and the double stroller never worked for me. Im lucky if I used it a dozen times, and I tried both, side to side and front to back. Big brother couldnt keep his paws off the baby, and they are still like that to this day... (what possessed me to take them grocery shopping, and thinknig the "truck" shopping cart would be cool, the excitement wore off in seconds...
I dont think Im going to get one with this baby either, because my middle one will be 2 1/2, and has barely been in a stroller for at least the past year...

Same situation here. 2 kids 2 years apart, exactly! Just wanted to say I have the Sit and Stand from OSA and my 2 year old LOVES it. Its the best thing, I am so happy we got it over a regular double stroller. Lauren is in her carseat in the front part and Andrew is on the jumpseat. Work very well for us.

Re: 2 under 2 Mommies
Mine are only 16 months apart, and it's only been 2 weeks, but so far we've used the double stroller (front and back one) for walks in the neighborhood. I didn't want side by side so Sarah couldn't touch the baby.
We got a second crib since I didn't think Sarah would be ready for a toddler bed. Bedtime is really the only time she gives me a problem, and if she was able to get out of the crib it would be even worse.
And IMO if you have a family member who can help you in the beginning it would be good. It's been a much harder transition for me than when Sarah was born. Sarah is just getting used to seeing me feed and hold Andy, but totally flips out at bedtime. I think she might be thinking that I'm leaving again (I left at night) and coming home with another baby. Since she's so young I can't reason with her too well.
