2 Part Question RE: Wintrop
Hi, still new in this journey and starting to do research... I have two questions...
1) Are alll rooms at Winthrop private?
2) Can you recommend any FEMALE docs that come highly recommended? Perferably to Winthrop BUT open to all FEMALE recommendations.

Not all the rooms at Winthrop are private. They do have 2 patient rooms.
I highly reccommend Dr. Jennifer Hanauer in Mineola. Her office is blocks away from Winthrop :) Love her!

I think you have to request a private room-
I recommend Dr. Kastner from Womens Contemporary Care..she is across the street from Winthrop!

I agree Dr hanauer is the best I go there as well...My sister in law had a private room in winthrop it cost alot more money than the regular room...some times there is to beds in your room but you are the only patient.

I delivered at Winthrop in '09 and the rooms were not all private. Private rooms were available for $225 per night.
I use Long Island Women's Health Group.
