2 1/2 years old and blowing off naps
Anyone else have/had this problem? He usually takes a 2 hr nap starting at 1230. Since Friday, he refuses...then gets so tired around 5 pm and conks out for 1/2 hr. Is he done with naps out of nowhere like this?

Logan has refused nap a few times in the last few weeks, but he always goes back to them.

Mine all stopped napping around 18-24 months.

Maybe he needs a later nap now?
DD will skip a nap here and there, but not on a regular basis. She goes down between 2 and 3 pm and sleeps for 2-3 hours.

DS hasn't napped in months and is going to be 2 1/2 soon.
Oddly enough, he fell asleep today on the couch and I put him down in his bed for a nap. SCORE! But he had a bad night last night, so he is out of whack.

Re: 2 1/2 years old and blowing off naps
We've been in the same situation on and off since the summer. DD has room darkening shades in her windows and I just put up curtain liners that make her room much darker (keeps the light out from the edges) and she's napped almost everyday since, as long as I don't let her sleep too late in the morning and strictly follow her usual nap routine and schedule.

DD will be 3 in march, she has not napped one day since early November. She will sit in her room for an hour each afternoon watching tv for rest time, but I really think she could still use the nap!
