1st sonogram
Did you have DH in the room while you got your 1st sonogram to see whats going on with your ovaries??

I had my first sonogram during my first consultation with the RE. DH was in the room with lots of question marks over his head because he was so confused about what he was looking at! LOL.....but yes, he was in the room.

yes DH was in the room. I wanted him to be there to listen to what Dr. B had to say in case I forgot! He said he was fine with anything except needles

DH wasn't there for the first one but he was there for PLENTY of others!! I always find it helpful because he remembers things that I don't!

Thank you everyone Im going in for my 1st sonogram today and I feel so nervous... I dunno why
We decided on having DH in the room, but I told him to sit or stand by my head LOL!! I dont want him to freak out looking at what the doc is doing

My DH wasn't there because he couldn't leave work... I wish he had been though because I can never remember everything that the Dr says

1st sonogram..
So DH sat off to the side and looked at the screen. Im day 20 and I told her that my left ovary gets sore often. She saw a small follicle in the right ovary... and saw like 4 or 5 on the left...and said "They are tiny" .... on day 20  I just feel so sad. I feel like there is no way I can get pregnant on my own. I cant wait to start our next cycle to get on the clomid
THey asked me to go back next week for another sono and bloodwork. Did you guys need to go back every week to get sono and bloodwork?? It cost me $30 ($15 for bloodwork and $15 for the sono) I just feel like getting sonos and bloodwork is useless without any medication for me. 
UPDATE: Apparently I ovulated already and didnt even know it

Hi Babybelly! It's actually not bad news that your RE saw total of 6 follies! At least this will be your baseline sono reading without any medication. Don't feel discouraged because at least from this sono, your RE can base your treatment on your natural cycle!

Hi Babybelly! It's actually not bad news that your RE saw total of 6 follies! At least this will be your baseline sono reading without any medication. Don't feel discouraged because at least from this sono, your RE can base your treatment on your natural cycle!
