I have never hear but follow you dr. They would not tell you not to worry. They see all kinds of things all the time. If there was reason to worry- he would let you know.
GOOD LUCK

Re: 1st sono yesterday...help!
I had a massive sub-chorionic hematoma that caused me to bleed out. Luckily- it eventually was resolved and it didn't effect the baby. It was a major concern, though, because of the size of it.
If it is teeny tiny- it will probably just reabsorb into your body in time. You may have a bit of brown spotting if it comes out. (It should be brown, NOT red)
I would be asking your doc about taking baby aspirin to break it up, and possible pelvic rest.

Thank you for responding..he said it was less than 5mm. He said if it has not caused a problem so far, then it is not in the way of the placenta getting blood to the baby. Sounds like you had a bigger scare...how long before all was okay?

I started bleeding out at 6.5 weeks and that lasted overnight. I spotted for a couple of days after that. Then at around 12 weeks I bled more but it was all dark brown, which was what I was told to expect so I wasn't worried. That took care of most of the clot. The rest of it reabsorbed completely by 16 weeks. Yours, i'm sure, will take much less time because it is smaller. I believe mine was something like 22mm

OMG! That is so scary, i am glad that all is ok, and I really do appreciate hearing your story...he said I may or may not bleed from this, he also said it occurs in 5 out of 10 pregnancies..but they usually just disappear.
