1st sono appt. what do they do?
My appointment is next week, but i was pregnant 4 years ago with DS, im forget what they do. is the sono internal? or external?

mine was just an internal sonogram then meeting with a nurse to go over a ton of things and given paperwork. The doctor was able to show me the heartbeat at almost 7 weeks, but we did not listen for it.
i also got papers to bring to a lab for all of the bloodwork i needed

1st sono appt. what do they do?
i had a regular exam and pap with the doctor, then a sono (internal), then bloodwork.
