1st appointment with a specialist
my luteal phase is short. 10 days and im concerned about gettign pregenant. im getting to be a crazy lady who wants a baby. im loosing my ability to be rational and gettting more upset by the day. i got in touch with American fertility services (NYC) and have an appointment this week. can anyone tell me what to expect and if they have had it what the treatment was and if they got preg easily after the appointment? thanks

First they will probably give you some testing. If you have a short LP taking B6 may help improve it. I also think they will put you on progesterone supplements in your next TTC cycle. Good luck.

I had a short luteal phase and was put on Metformin. When I got pg I was put on progesterone suppositories.
Short luteal phase is something that can be corrected.

thanks all. apt is tomorrow. temps have still been high and AF is really light so i tested Just in case but negative. i hear short Luteal can easily be fixed so that is encouraging. i want this already!
