16 month old telling me when diaper needs to be changed?
Ok, she isn't overtly saying, mommy change my diaper, but I wonder if this means she'll want to be potty trained early.
Lately I have noticed that when Sash wants her diaper changed, she points to her diaper/****** and says "dat" (her fave word).
I change her often, but let's say I haven't gotten to it yet and it's kinda full-- she does this.

Ethan (same age) does the same when he poops...he pats his c rotch area and says paaa lol. Sometimes he does it when there's no poop, so I wonder if he feels himself peeing.
Hopefully this makes for easy potty training!

when she wants her diaper changed.

by that age my girls would be bringing me diapers to change them when they wanted them changed. Kaitee would ask for a new "bop"(totally forgot about her calling diapers that until this post ). I think its normal development for that age range. I still waited until after their 2nd birthday to train them.

Chels has just started to take off her diaper when she wants it changed...FUNNNNNN let me tell you..thankfully it hasn't been poop yet just a full pee diaper...I'm pretty quick in changing he poop diapers....I took out the potty and am trying to sit her on it but so far no interest, just liking to alert me to a full diaper..

Declan makes no mentio at all. Ronan will put his hand on his lower back and look at me when he has poop. Pee-neither of them say anything.

I made a post similar around the same time....Lexi was saying "Mommy ..poop"
Still does do it, though not every time....Now she is looking for privacy when she goes...
I think they are starting to become more aware
