1.5 year old and crib...what's in it?

Did you make their crib more comfortable at this stage?

It's just her, a knit blanket that is off of her most of the night from rolling around, and some binkies if she needs one.

You don't do pillows or anything until they're older, right?

My son has nothing in his crib. He still wears a sleep suit at 16 months instead of using a blanket. It also doubles as his lovie because he's super attached to it. No pillows or anything because he moves all over the place and would never use them correctly. We have the traditional bumpers though.

My almost 1 yo has a knit blanket, his musical stuffed seahorse, a pacifier, sometimes a teething toy or two, and a couple small stuffed animals, that are more like "lovies" that rattle. He tends to sleep like a rock though - doesn't really move around at all in his sleep, so I just leave all those things down by his feet. If he was the type to move around in his sleep a lot, I wouldn't leave those things in with him.

Yes... we have a pillow (adult size) and she loves to sleep on it. She can get up and SIDS stage is far over.

She doesn't like blankets, but at times I stick one in too.

ETA: she's 19 mo and my others had pillows too by the . I probably introduced them after a year.

Yeah I debate it because when she lays in our bed to play she always jumps right to the pillow to get cozy. I'm just wondering if it's worth risking a bad night if she hates it

DD will be 2 in June. We put her in a sleep sack (the one with the feet cutouts) but she also sleeps with her favorite blanket and a stuffed animal (her "duckie").

DS is 16 months and sleeps with a knitted blanket, his binkie and "bun bun" (it's a small stuffed animal bunny that he is beyond attached too). I'm not comfortable putting a pillow in his crib just yet

My almost-2 year old sleeps with his small stuffed animal and lately he asks for a blanket.. that's it. Actually my 3.5 year old doesn't have anything in his either... we tried a pillow with him but he didn't like it.

Dd1 never had anything in the crib except a small lovey. She slept in the crib like that in a sleep sack until 2.5.

Dd2 probably had a toddler pillow, lovey, and knit blanket well before 1.5. We switched to a full size pillow not long after and around 2 she added a fleece blanket.

DD was in a regular bed with a quilt, comforter, pillows, etc. at 17 months.

my 20 month old is in the crib with WAAAAY to many dolls, a bear bath squirter she is obsessed with and a unicorn stuffy. She also has a small security blanket but i don't think she notices it.

DD is 22 months old and has had a pillow for close to a year. DS got one around 18 months old.

DD also has 2 blankets, 2-5 pacis, 3 loveys, at least 2 dolls, and sometimes some other random toys she wants to sleep with!

A toddler pillow, blanket and one or two stuffed animals that he doesn't really care about. He's not attached to anything like that. He only recently started asking for a blanket and pillow too.

About 3 blankets (she looooooooves soft cozy blankets), a bunch of random stuffed animals. Haven't done a pillow yet because she is a mover and wouldn't stay on it all night night.

15 months. Nothing. She sleeps in a sleep sack. Sometimes there's a pacifier if I don't change her sheets because she sticks them in the corners.

Dd is 15 mos and there's nothing in her crib. She sleeps fine so I don't feel that I need to introduce anything.

Nothing in my 17 month olds crib but her!
She still wears a fleece sleep sack at night, but once it gets warmer I'm thinking we will finally introduce a small lightweight blanket.
I was really strict with the guidelines about what to have in the crib to prevent risk of SIDS>

My 20 month old DS has a fleece blanket that he sometimes keeps on sometimes doesn't and a stuffed Rudolph that he sleeps next to. And that's it. I tried introducing a pillow since he loves laying on our pillows when he's in our bed but he just rolls off of it. I stopped putting it in there.

At that age, my DS wore a sleep sack. If it was really cold, I put a light crocheted blanket over him. Around 2, he wanted a pillow. This year, at 2.5, he has 2 pillows, 1 million blankets and 5 million stuffed animals. He also sleeps with a plastic dog and 7 million books. His crib is crowded but he sttn so I'm fine with it.

What isn't in her crib? She sleeps with a pillow, 2 blankets, 3 loveys, 2 dolls, a bunch of pacis, and whatever random toys she's decided to sleep with that day.

She's my second and clearly I'm much less strict with her.
