14 week- Massive Weight Gain?
I am towards the end of my 14th week, and I realized, this week alone I have gained 3 pounds! It is a lot at once, for less than a full week... I have now gained 6 full pounds since I got pregnant.
Is this too much?? I am scared I am going to start accumulating too much weight too rapidly now since I saw these 3 pounds creep up this week.

if it makes you feel any better, im 14 weeks and i'm up more than you! as long as you're eating okay though then i wouldn't worry and just let your body do its thing.

no, it's not too much at all. i read your post title and expected to open and see that you had gained 25 pounds already! fwiw, i gained 13-14 lbs by 14 weeks.

I would not consider 5 lbs in the first trimester massive.

I am doing pretty good this pregnancy so far as far as weight gain ~ although I was very sick which helped and a lot of food adversions! But with my DS's pregnancy (1st son) I gained a lot from the very beginning ~ I was always starving!! I think you are doing fine as long as you are eating right you will be fine! Sometimes it tapers off in the 3rd Tri. Good Luck!

With DS, I gained most of my weight in the second trimester. During weeks 18 and 19, I gained 10 lbs.!
This time I'm 14 weeks and up 7lbs., but 4 of those within the last 2 weeks.
Your doing great, don't worry about it.

I'm 13 weeks and have gained 1 lb. Thank God because my doctor does not want me to gain more than 20lbs with this second pregnancy. I gained 30lbs with my son and since I'm starting out 10lbs heavier than I was when I got pregnant with my son (I was a skinny minnie right after getting married ) she wants me to keep it even and be able to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I am really watching what I eat and I am actually only craving only healthy foods and can't eat anything fried.
