14 or 15 months and waking during the night?

DS has woken in the middle of the night several times in the past week. He's 14 months, and has all of his teeth, so it's not teething, and we just had a check up, and he has a clean bill of health.

The first time we took him into our bed (used to work) and he was up for 4 hours. Last night we let him cry, which I hated, and it lasted about 10 minutes.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it separation/boredom/overstimulation? He was such a good sleeper for so long.

Mason does this once in a while. My Ped said that once they get into a routine and you go along with it then they stick to that routine and the only way to break it is CIO.

For instance, Mason was getting up when he was teething bad a couple of months ago. DH or I would keep running in their to rock him till he fell asleep. When the teeth came in and we knew he was fine b/c we had him checked we knew he was training us each night to go in there to rock him. We had to do the CIO a couple of nights till he finally realized he can soothe himself and he didn't need mom or dad to soothe him.

Might have to keep trying it. If Mason is sick or really screaming from something then of course I go running in.

Braydon does this sometimes...this past week its been every night...he just seems to want to play so i dont know

the one night i gave him a bottle and he played by himself in the crib for 2 hours and then last night i let him CIO foor like 15 mins and he fell back asleep

but he is also teething so i think thats it
