August Mommies

I see that the other months have a place to post...I know it is still early for some of us, but I thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves!! I am due on August 9th. We are not finding out the sex. I am going for my nuchal tomorrow--I can't wait!! So far, I have no complaints...no m/s thankfully, just tired and of course have the occasional headaches. How are all of you????

I am also a august mommy. I think this is a great idea. I am due on Aug 31st. We plan on finding out the sex of he baby, at least so far.

I'm due August 11. So far, I've been struggling with nausea almost everyday. Now it is mostly at night and I'm hoping it will go away soon!

We haven't decided if we want to find out the sex, but we are leaning toward yes!

Im an August mommy, due August 28th! We will be finding out the sex of the baby. Have our Ultrascreen 2/13, nervous & excited to see our peanut again.

I have bad nausea at night, dr put me on unisom to ease the nausea, so far it helps a lot.

Hello! I'm due August 2nd. I just had my nuchal and it was the most amazing day we've had so far, since finding out we were pregnant. Have fun with that. we will not be finding out the sex, although i'm dying to know! This baby has been so good to me. Except for a little bit of backaches, no m/s or anything. Hope I'm not speaking too soon!

Hi! I'm due 8/22. Thankfully, I too have not had any m/s. Just TIRED a lot! I had my 10 wk sono today (i posted pics earlier) and going for my ultrascreen on 2/8 so I'm excited to see my little bean again soon!
DH & I plan on finding out the sex...I cant take the suspense!!

I am due 8/31. No m/s, just very very tired and bloated. Next dr's appt is 2/12. We will definately find out the sex.

Nice to meet all of you! I am due on August 4th. Today I have been m/s free for 2 days and I am starting to get some energy back. I am still soooo tired though.

Hello!!!!!! I'm due August 30th!!! We plan on finding out the sex, which we were told would be around Easter. Right now, I've had some nausea on and off since week 6. The worst part is gas. My stomach grows about 6 inches when the gas is stuck. I look funny.

Hi there,
Due August 7, in my 12th week. Just had the ultrascreen sono yesterday, everything looks great. The baby looks like a baby already- so cute! Im feeling pretty good, for the most part the nauseau subsided & i started working out again this week- Welcome back energy!!! I dont want to know the sex, DH does, so we still have 8 weeks to decide (or to convice DH).

Hi- I am due August 22 with #2. M/S is really bad and it is hard working all day and taking care of DS. Thank goodness for DH. He takes care of DS after work so I can get my rest.

Oh, and yes we will be finding out the sex, I believe sometime in April. Can't wait!

Hi I am due Aug 6th with twins.So i can actually be an Aug or a July mommy.We are going to find out what the sexes are going to be . I am going for my Ultrascreen next friday! I had to go on Monday becasue i was spotting and I got to see both of them and heard both heartbeats!!!!

DD is very happy she is going to be a big sister!

I just got back from the nuchal. Got some pics but they are at home right now. All is looking good. They got the results from some of the blood work and so far, all is looking good for us. It was amazing to hear the heartbeat today!! The baby was just being a little difficult for the sono...just doesn't want to move and we were all laughing that we hope he/she isn't going to get too comfy in there!! I am measuring right on target for August 9th!!

I'm due August 28th. My nuchal is on Valentine's day. Looking forward to seeing the peanut again soon. So far so good, almost no Morning Sickness. Still very tired and I'm a little constipated but otherwise not too bad.

We'll all get to bring home our little "hot potatoes" in the dog days of summer.

I'm a little nervous about delivering in the end of August. DH said if there is a hurricane on the baby's B-day we'll use the storm's name as a middle name if it's the right gender.

ME TOO!! Due 8/28! We will find out the sex.. I can' t wait! DH keeps saying he has to paint the room! How long do we have to wait! We go back 2/22 for another sono and to hear the heart beat! So excited b/c we are bringing our 10 yr old son to this appointment, He can't wait!

So far I've been pretty good just a bit queasy here and there and I all of a sudden can not eat any pasta?!?! I love pasta!


OMG--if I lose my taste for pasta I will CRY!! I was thinking I wanted some for dinner tonight! I have a huge aversion to Chicken right now....and I used to eat that all the time!!
I am feeling good too...almost no nausea so I am happy about that!!! Where is everyone delivering? I am delivering in Southampton Hospital

I'm delivering at LIJ (poor DH we live in Lindenhurst so it will be a long ride).

I feel like I just got my BFP yesterday and I can't believe it that Sept is so full on the Expecting list already. That makes it seem like it's going so fast. Yet some days I feel like August will never come.

Hi everyone! I recognize some of the mom's from the parenting board since this will be #2 for me. I am due 8/22 also and we will be finding out the sex (can't wait!!!). My 12 week is 2/9..I feel like this pregnancy is going quicker, I 'll see once it starts being HOT!!! ( I had my son in december )

ETA: I had "all day sickness" the first 7 weeks, now I am only nauseous at night and when I go too long without eating. I had minimal with my son, so this is killing me!!!

at least we wont need two differnt seasons of maternity cloths !

I feel so bad for the girls who have to go through 2 seasons and spend tons of money..

Checking in girls! How are you all feeling? I am great! Just a little tired but I am glad to be entering the 2nd trimester! They say our energy starts to come back so I can't wait!! I can't believe that I have to wait so long to go to the Dr again...UGH! But the best news is that I did NOT get a call from the Dr so that means all of the testing they did was good!

We heard the heartbeat on Saturday, so that was exciting!!!!!!!! Where is everyone delivering? I'm at St. Charles in Port Jeff.
